Madeline is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist specializing in eating disorders and disordered eating across the lifespan, with a particular focus on adolescents and young adults. She works with both individuals and families, supporting clients through the full spectrum of eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, OSFED, chronic dieting, and long-standing food fears.
Madeline began her work in eating disorders in a mental health hospital, where she specialized in both adult and adolescent PHP and IOP programs. She worked closely with clients and their families across all levels of care and witnessed patients reclaim themselves and families heal from the pain of an eating disorder — experiences that continue to inspire her work today.
She is passionate about helping clients liberate themselves from food rules, fear, shame, and food noise so they can reconnect with their full selves and the people they love. She proudly supports LGBTQ+ clients and families, ensuring that every person feels seen, affirmed, and supported in their journey.
With specialized training in Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Madeline is especially passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults — including college students and those up to age 30 — who can benefit from a family or chosen family approach to recovery. She empowers parents, caregivers, and supportive loved ones as active leaders in the healing process and provides steady structure and guidance so families and chosen families can stand together against the eating disorder.
Madeline also has a special interest in ARFID and selective or picky eating, using exposure-based and sensory-informed approaches to gently expand variety and confidence with food. She works with neurodivergent clients, tailoring support to meet each person’s unique needs, and equally enjoys supporting those navigating binge eating disorder to reduce shame, rebuild trust with their bodies, and move toward a more peaceful relationship with food.
Outside of her clinical work, Madeline enjoys spending time with her wife and toddler, hikes with her pittie pup, reading, taking the family camper out, and advocating for size diversity and representation, especially in the health care world.
