Telehealth
Lorissa Bronson RD (she/her) is a Registered Dietitian who uses a Health At Every Size mindset. Lorissa believes food provides experiences with our senses, relationships, culture, and so much more. She strives to help clients heal their relationship with food, while supporting them through their personal lived experience. When working with clients, Lorissa uses evidenced- based fact checking, collaboration, encouragement, and compassion.
Lorissa has been working with clients and patients for over 10 years. She has held a National Board Certification in Nutrition Support, along with a certification in Intuitive Eating. She has worked in a variety of settings including acute care hospitals, physical rehab hospitals, in-person and virtual eating disorder treatment, and private practice. Her work has included working with a variety of age groups from 8 to 70+ years. Initially pursuing a dietetics degree at the University of Arizona with an emphasis in Medical Nutrition Therapy, Lorissa found that she could make more of an impact outside of the hospital setting. She wanted to teach clients/patients skills on how to make food and movement work for their daily lives, along with empowering them to advocate for their health.
Lorissa loves reading, yoga, ballet, and visiting coffee shops. She is currently trying to teach herself the art of making a great cup of coffee at home. Other hobbies include traveling with her husband, trying new restaurants with friends, and spoiling her dogs Zona and Birdie!
