I love to journey alongside teens and adults who feel caught in cycles of food shame, body mistrust, or patterns of eating that don’t make sense on the surface, especially those who suspect their relationship with food is rooted in something deeper.

If you’ve ever felt frustrated with yourself around food, harsh toward your body, or exhausted from trying to “fix” what feels broken, you’re not alone. So often, these struggles aren’t about willpower or discipline. They’re connected to early experiences, attachment dynamics, trauma, and the ways our nervous systems learned to cope.

I approach our work through a narrative-focused, trauma-informed lens that gently leans into your story of origin to bring healing to the here and now. The stories we carry about food, our bodies, and ourselves oftentimes are a result of our learned patterns of attachment. Together, we will gently explore these stories, not to judge them, but to understand them. With curiosity and compassion, we will separate what happened from the shame woven through it. From here, we can build something more secure, more attuned, and more sustainable. I believe healing our relationship with food, and with ourselves, isn’t about control. It’s about safety, connection, and learning to trust our bodies again.

I strive to approach life with the same posture of curiosity and compassion that I bring to my clients. You can often find me tending new-to-me plants in the garden, running along the local bike paths, or exploring with my family. I’m also a creative at heart and find deep joy and satisfaction in making art that brings beauty to a space.

I completed the master’s program in Food Science and Nutrition at Colorado State University and have training from the Allender Center and ReStory Institute in narrative-focused trauma care. As a dietitian I practice a weight inclusive, non-diet, and HAES aligned approach to client care and utilize Intuitive Eating principles, embodiment exercises, and education around attachment styles and ways of relating.
