Amy Ostroski (she/her/hers)

Amy is a non-diet, intuitive eating focused dietitian who is passionate about supporting people through their eating disorder recovery. She holds a Masters in Human Nutrition from the University of Alabama and is also a Certified Lactation Counselor. She recognizes that each person’s journey through life looks different and strives to provide personalized, compassionate support that is accessible and available to all.

Amy developed a passion for food and nutrition in college, when she realized that so many of her deep social connections revolved around creating and sharing meals with others. That passion led Amy to attend the Culinary Institute of America where she completed her degree in Culinary Arts.

Throughout her time in the food industry, Amy recognized that each person’s individual life path shapes their relationship with food and eating. After seeing how her own food journey impacted her parenting, Amy returned to college to enhance her education in nutrition. She worked as a Breastfeeding Specialist and WIC Nutritionist for several years where she educated parents on the benefits of creating a solid foundation of nutritional knowledge and encouraged them to have fun with food. Her diverse background led her to specialize in several areas including intuitive eating, food security, pregnancy and lactation nutrition, and pediatric and adolescent nutrition.

In her spare time, you’ll often find Amy reading, cooking and enjoying time with her family. Originally from the Northeast, Amy also enjoys going on adventures in her new home state, which include foraging, hiking and spotting native wildlife.
